Woman Accused of Assaulting a Police Officer

Lisa Ann Chambers is accused of kicking a police officer while he was trying to arrest her for an outstanding warrant.

She was wanted for not showing up to a court hearing, and when the officer tried to make the arrest at her Charlottesville home, she allegedly resisted by kicking the officer in his thigh.

Chambers now faces a charge of assault on a law enforcement officer, she will be in court next month.
