Woman to Serve 6 years in Prison for Nelson Co. Arson

Linda Blackwell will serve a little over six years in prison. She was convicted in March of setting two fires at her home and collecting insurance.

A Nelson County woman will serve several years in prison after being found guilty of intentionally setting fire to her home.

Linda Blackwell will serve a little over six years in prison.

Blackwell was convicted in March of setting two fires at her home and collecting insurance. Also part of her sentence, she will repay the insurance company and be on probation for 20 years once she is out of prison.
