3,500 runners came out to run for a cause in the annual Charlottesville women's four miler.
They were all raising money for the UVa Cancer Center Breast Cancer program.
For the past 22 years, the race has helped research, support services and community outreach.
At the race, several teams with very interesting names ran as the male supporters cheered them on including team "Boob Defenders."
"Our great friend Jill Parks, she's been fighting cancer for five years," said Glenn Lock. "The community has rallied behind her and we have participated in this race since we found out about that and every year it just gets bigger and bigger."
So far, this year women's four miler has raised over $194,000 towards their $400,000 goal. If you would like to donate you can visit the Women's Four Miler website here: http://bit.ly/1pVXJUN
