The McIntire Road/Harris Street intersection will be controlled by police officers Wednesday as utility work continues.
Traffic will be detoured by Charlottesville Police throughout Wednesday, June 12, as the roadway is patched from completed gas line work.
North and southbound McIntire Road traffic from the Route 250 Bypass may be directed to turn onto Harris Street. Northbound Harris Street traffic may be directed to turn onto Southbound McIntire Road.
Traffic on McIntire Road and the Route 250 Bypass will be halted from time to time between 1pm-4pm starting Wednesday, June 12 to Friday, June 14, 2013.
Blasting will take place along the south side of the Route 250 Bypass and traffic will be stopped to ensure safety.
Drivers are reminded that the posted speed limit in the work zone is 25 MPH.
