Young figure skaters took to the ice this holiday season for the Charlottsville Figure Skating Club holiday show.
The annual event took place at the Main Street Arena Sunday afternoon. This year's theme was Holidays Around the World.
The show took the audience on an adventure as Santa Claus tried to find a kidnapped Mrs. Claus.
"Skating is just, it's such a beautiful thing. Every year there's always the ballet and different school musicals and things to go to," said figure skating director Tiffany Thornton. "We've really tried to reach out, let the community in Charlottesville know that we have a holiday show, something fun and different."
Kid skaters of all ages took part in the holiday show and took six weeks to prepare.
