HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - More than 2,600 high school students are expected to attend a conference this month aimed at helping them with career choices.
The 2014 Youth Career Expo will be held Feb. 26 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.
The event includes more than 60 exhibitors from a variety of fields including higher education, local government, finance, construction, transportation, shipbuilding, defense and advanced manufacturing. More than 250 business professionals who will conduct mock interviews.
The conference is an annual collaboration between the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, the Peninsula Council for Workforce Development, and the Greater Peninsula School Districts.
