Investment Nonprofit Prepares for Move, Additional Jobs in Charlottesville

A local nonprofit is getting ready to make the move from Albemarle County to Charlottesville.

The CFA Institute is almost ready to move into its new space at the site of the old Martha Jefferson Hospital on Locust Avenue in Charlottesville. Construction began a year ago, and it's now wrapping up.

The investment organizatino will add 45 jobs in its new Global Operations Center.

The group is moving from the Fontaine Research Park and hopes to be fully operational in the converted hospital by mid-January.
