The High Street Clubhouse

Located in Charlottesville, the High Street Clubhouse is a community-based vocational program that offers members the opportunity to develop social and functional skills in a supportive, realworld environment, and achieve goals of regained independence. Members can enjoy a lifetime membership in addition to access to additional services and supports. The Clubhouse operates on a work-ordered day schedule from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The High Street Clubhouse welcomes any individual with a documented history of brain injury who meets the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Independent in self-care and mobility (if all other criteria are satisfied, then a person who does not fulfill this requirement is permitted to become a member under the condition that a personal care attendant is present for assistance)
  • Able to provide own transportation
  • Desire to contribute to the Clubhouse community and work toward personal goals
  • Able to participate with limited supervision
