For this week's Hot the Hanger: CBS 19's Tara Wheeler visited Twice is Nice in Charlottesville to learn how to get red carpet looks for half the price.

"Never been worn designer gowns, some with the tags still on them. We have a Marchesa David Meister. If you were to buy them in the store you'd spend about $1,300 and we have it here for $275. You can't beat that," said Joncey Boggs Manager of Twice is Nice.

The store sales designer gowns, homemade hand-knit sweaters, wool skirts and accessories. Many of the items sold in the store are donated for free.

"It's this circle of generosity that astounds me every day. It's like Christmas three hundred and sixty-five days because you never know what's coming in and it's amazing some of the things people are willing to give," said Boggs.

Some of the money earned from sales benefits the Mountainside Senior Center in Crozet.
