The columns of the Rotunda on University of Virginia grounds have been covered from top to bottom with a special black material to honor Yeardley Love.
The veiling of the columns is part of an unique art project to remember UVa. lacrosse player Yeardley Love, who was allegedly murdered by men's lacrosse player George Huguely in May.
The black capes are a move to bring people together who are still grieving Love's death, but they're also meant to symbolize hope, despite the dark tragedy of her death.
