A grand jury has indicted former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely on all six counts, including murder, in the death of ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love.
The Charlottesville grand jury reviewed first-degree murder, robbery, burglary, statutory burglary and grand larceny charges against George Huguely on Monday. The panel then decided to indict the 23-year-old and allow the case to proceed to trial.
The trial will begin on February 6, 2012.
The grand jury charges that Huguely "willfully, deliberately, and with premeditation killed and murdered" Love.
Following a preliminary hearing on April 11, a judge decided that there is enough evidence against Huguely to move the case forward.
Huguely is accused in the May 3, 2010, death of 22-year-old women's lacrosse player Yeardley Love. He has remained in jail since his arrest.
