Broadcast Information Technologist
CBS19 is currently seeking an IT professional to work in a broadcast television environment. Duties will include maintaining video servers, LAN administration, wireless networks, VOIP, video streaming equipment, and other duties as assigned.
Good attitude and communications skills in a fast paced environment a must. Microsoft or MSCE Certification a plus. Candidate must possess a current driver’s license with a great driving record and be available for all shifts, weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will also receive additional structured training in broadcast and emerging communications technologies to supplement core IT skills.

Technical Media Producer
CBS19 is currently seeking a Technical Media Producer (T.M.P.) which has the general responsibility for live or pre-recorded productions as assigned, monitoring on-air signals, transmitter readings, FCC logs, ingesting and segmenting daily programming and commercials, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position and must be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and people skills and an operating knowledge of PCs. Prior Production / Master Control experience is a plus.

Account Executive
The Charlottesville Newsplex (home of CBS19, ABC16, WAHU FOX27, and Newsplex.com) is seeking a motivated self-starter and team player to serve as our next successful advertising sales Account Executive. Media sales experience is a plus, but as long as you can generate sales and have fun along the way we want to talk to you!
You will drive and influence the growth of our television and digital products, and give our advertisers top of the line service! You'll work with our broadcast sales manager and our award-winning creative team to help your clients grow their business. And you'll have a lot of fun with our team and our products... from award-winning local news, to March Madness, to the NFL, to American Idol Giveaways.
