There was a lot of opportunity for family fun on the Downtown Mall Sunday afternoon as part of the Virginia Discovery Museum's Discoveroo.
The children's music festival was held at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. The day featured live music, face painting, hula hooping and other activities.
There was a large area by the stage for kids to dance and another area for mom and dad to paint on large easels.
