High pressure in the wake of yesterday's cold front will bring some much-needed relief from the heat this weekend! Skies will be sunny today, and it will be less humid with afternoon highs only in the upper 80s - very close to our seasonal normals. We'll stay clear tonight and have the opportunity to give the air conditioner a break as lows settle near the 60-degree mark.
A warm front sneaking through Saturday afternoon may touch off a stray thunderstorm or two, but there will be a better chance of storms late Sunday as a cold front crosses the area. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s all weekend but we'll warm to the lower 90s early next week.
Today: Mostly sunny and less humid. Highs in the upper 80s.

Have a great weekend! Chief Meteorologist Travis Koshko
