ACCOMACK, Va. — An arsonist has struck again on Virginia's Eastern Shore.
Virginia State Police said Thursday that a fire was set overnight at an abandoned barn in Accomack County.
It's the 18th fire set at abandoned structures throughout the county since Nov. 13. No injuries have resulted from the fires.
Investigators say it is not uncommon for multiple fires to be set on one night in various locations.
Investigators with the Accomack County Sheriff's Office and the state police criminal investigation office in Chesapeake are seeking the public's help with any sightings of vehicles or people near the torched structures.
A reward of $5,000 is being offered by the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators for an arrest and conviction.
