A group of Albemarle County school students are showing off their musical stylings in a video going viral among other students and parents.
The video has a group of students singing a parody of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." In the song, the students thank Josh Davis, the school system's director of transportation services, for the phone call he delivers alerting that school is canceled because of inclement weather.
According to the YouTube page where the video is posted, Davis has been receiving many emails and messages about the song.
Hey, Mr. Davis, It's snowing crazy and Nelson's closing, So call me, maybe? It's hard to overlook Your students' safety and I'm just hoping You'll close school, maybe?
Hey, Mr. Davis, It's snowing crazy and Nelson's closing So call me, maybe? Tomorrow there's a test, so please just save me. And Nelson's closing, So call me, maybe?
