Nelson Co. Man Facing Dozens of Sex Charges

A man in Nelson County has been arrested for dozens of sex crimes over the course of several years.

Police say James Edlow Jessup, from Gladstone, had three female victims, all of them underage.

Jessup is accused of rape, sexual battery, and carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Investigators say they've been working for three months to build a case against him, and that Jessup faces a total of 54 charges.
