Former Virginia basketball player and Atlanta Hawks rookie Mike Scott scored a career-high 11 points Monday, as Atlanta beat the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves, 104-96.
Scott was 5-for-8 from the floor and had 7 rebounds and 2 steals in 22 minutes. His previous career-high was 10 points against the Chicago Bulls on Jan. 14.
Atlanta was led by Al Horford, who had a season-high 28 points and 10 rebounds, and Jannero Pargo who added 16 for the Hawks who snapped a two-game slide with the win.
