Former Virginia slugger Mark Reynolds is now a free agent, he was non-tendered by the Baltimore Orioles on Friday.
The 29-year-old first baseman hit .221 with 23 homers and 69 RBI, helping the Orioles snap a 15-year postseason drought. Baltimore declined Reynolds' $11 million option earlier this off-season.
Reynolds spent two seasons in Baltimore after arriving from Arizona in a December 2010 trade. Reynolds led the Orioles with 37 homers and 86 RBI.
