Cavaliers Throttle Clemson, Extend Home Streak to 13

Virginia put the defensive clamps on Clemson, holding to the Tigers to a John Paul Jones Arena record 10 points in the first half of an eventual 78-41 Cavalier victory.
The Wahoos led 35-10 at the break, holding its eighth team this season under 20 points at the half.
Joe Harris scored 21 points and outscored Clemson by himself for most of the game, Akil Mitchell added 16 points and Justin Anderson 14 as the Cavs avenged one of their worst performances of the season, a 59-44 loss at Clemson on Jan. 12.
Virginia (16-6, 6-3) will travel to Maryland on Sunday.
