It can take days, or even weeks, of shopping to find the perfect pair of jeans. The search will soon become even more of a task for hundreds of area shoppers when the Judy b. Jeans and Clothing Salon closes its doors.
After years of being a perfect fit in Charlottesville, many shelves at Judy b. on Millmont Street are now bare. After 15 years of serving the Charlottesville community, the clothing salon will close at the end of August.
"We have had the most wonderful customers through the years, not only loyal, but sweet. Some have become wonderful friends that I will miss terribly," said owner Judy Bushkin.
Bushkin and staff work with each customer to find them the perfect pair of jeans, which is just one of the many reasons Judy b. was the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Best of C'Ville winner for the "Best Place to Buy Jeans."
The store is closing because Judy has decided to retire. What was left in the store Tuesday was marked down 70%. You can find more information on the Judy b. website.
