I could have called this years ago. When Netflix came out, I knew the price wouldn't last long. And sure enough, it blew most video rental places out of the water, and now they are the largest one standing. Of course NOW that they have the monopoly on dvd rentals since places like Blockbuster are closing stores, then they can raise it to where they want to. I like Netflix, but I will stick to Red Box and Blockbuster Express for now.

Hey, Why don't you report more to this story? The main reason why Netflix is raising rates is because their contracts with the folks are expiring in a year or two and when they re-negotiate, they would be paying a huge amount more. Look it up!
