I wonder if it is Larry Sinclair is driving for Obama these days. Just like he did in Chicago. He would certainly be a better "First Man" than Michelle.

If this moron of a President would spend as much time on fixing this economy or lowering gas prices as he does gay marriage, arresting Zimmerman, funding abortion, furthering class warfare, supporting occupiers, funding mismanaged businesses, expensive obamacare, and such; maybe I would have reason to vote for his second term. I hope he looses in November and in a big way!!

I personally advised Obama the only way to get re-elected was to continue to polarize disparate bases.

Just something to think about let gays get married and instead of benefits for being married like tax breaks and survivor benefits from SS etc just have individual rights it seems that the big thing is that gays will have the same social benefits as straight married couples so why as an individual I do not get those breaks that married couples I am not gay and I am not married so why as a single person I pay more taxes and do not get those benefits that married people get

Hollywood money? Yes Please! This is hardly a "stand" He believes gays should be allowed to get married.. But wants to leave it up to the states? So.. how does that help homosexuals? Not too much if you are in North Carolina

I guess when you feel like you might not win an election because your job creating policies and others suck you pull out the gay card. So he figures that should get him more votes and he might win with the gays on his side! What strange timing!!

The only thing that has evolved is his internal White House polling data. He needs to pander to every minority group and organization he can for votes. According to a November 29 New York Times op-Ed he has given up on the white working middle class for votes.

So now I guess next thing will happen is to try to re-write the Bible.I mean we are going against everything the good book was written for.How about legalizing incest, child molestation, they are sins just as homosexuality.

Good. There is no rational reason to oppose civil marriage rights for same-sex couples other than bigotry. Despite asking over and over again, I've never heard a justification for banning it in law that was at all rational or informed. Remember: no church is required to marry anyone that they don't want to; no matter what, they will still get to set their own private rules. That's fine, but churches need to keep their beliefs out of the law when they are discriminatory towards others.
