Sure, being nurtured and weaned in the most corrupt political machine in the country...and you think Obama is clean? Stands up to the special interest groups? Oh, you mean the unions (another of the most corrupt organizations in the nation). He stands up to the (mostly Dem) leadership of America's big cities...again, some of the most corrupt politicians in the land. Sure he does. This election does not balance on ethics or corruption. It hinges on whether we want to continue big government and socialist policies or whether we want to give the other folks a chance. I vote for the latter; throw out this guy on his ears! As an "also", the speech was delivered at an 8th grade speaking/ listening level. That is needed to appeal to his base. This would qualify as the 3rd "lowest grade" SOTU speech in modern (since 1934) times. Care to wager which were the 2nd & 1st lowest (comprehension) level speeches prior to last evenings? C'mon, someone shout out, W!. That would be .....wrong. The answer would be Mr. Obama's other two(2) previous SOTU address. Hmm, ask a teacher.

I think its great that this presidents isn't afraid to stand up for the majority and call out the special intrest which has corrupted our government.I also like that the republicans are reduced to spreading propoganda to try and undermine all this man has tried to do.Not one of you that oppose this president are anymore patriotic or have a greater love for this country than the man holding this office. The majority of the people crying now don't even fit into class that We are targeting and spew this propaganda to try and maintain a status with people who could care less about your well being. Oh yeah lets not forget "Its not class warfare, its just common sense.God speed Mr President ,you have my vote in 2012

I'll agree with one thing he said about something needing to be done immediately... the word "Impeachment" comes to mind. When is he going to start following the Constitution, as he swore to "protect and defend" when he took office? We've gone 100o days without a Federal Budget, because he hasn't submitted one as required by law. His idea of the "American Dream" is the same old "redistribution of wealth" that he's always advocated. When are people going to wake up and start seeing him as the Socialist that he is?

Where was this sense of a "fair shot" when he was bailing out Wall Street?

The tea party, big $$ and babies stomping their feet have destroyed the American values of working hand in hand. I will vote for OBAMA in 2012 I just do not believed anything the GOP is saying is honest.

You do not trust the GOP but you trust OBAMA. What are you saying. Everything he says is a lie. He can not produce and artifacts of truth what so ever and is committed on killing this country. How about all of his hundreds of millions of dollars blown on his luxurious vacations for him and Michelle and her 40 friends on our tax dollars. And you trust him?

There has never been a president who cared so much for the middle and lower income classes. His belief that we all do our share is such a new thought for the rich they just don't see why they can't continue reaping the harvest in their 10-15% tax bracket.

Oh yeah, the use of words, appeal to the populist ideals. The speech was a rehash of the two previous SOTU address' and was well delivered. Any truth or the same old campaigning by the career campaigner-in-chief? As I watched and listened, I wanted to believe the man, the president, but I only have to look at the results so far and note how he practices "taquia". The damage is deep, an effective enemy within... Joe Wilson was/ is correct- "You Lie!" Very good at it is he but that trait is not a value.
