Charlottesville Municipal Band Holds Annual Fall Concert

The Charlottesville Municipal Band delighted an audience at their fall concert.

Hundreds packed into the Piedmont Virginia Community College's Dickinson Auditorium.

The event also featured a performance by Monticello High School flutist Marie Fernandez. She performed a piece by composer Franz Doppler.

Fernandez is the 2012 winner of the James W. Simmons solo competition.
