The maker of the charity search engine GoodSearch, which donates to your favorite charity just by searching the internet, is now using the same concept for online shopping.
At GoodShop.com. customers can shop at hundreds of popular stores and at the same time give to a charity or school of their choice.
And it doesn't cost customers a thing. Prices are the same as if you went directly to the stores' websites. Right now there are over 47,000 non profits earning money from the site including nine non profits in Charlottesville.
If they don't have your favorite charity or school. you can simply add it. The site also tells you what percentage of your purchase will actually go to your charity or school with donations going as high as 37%.
