The Salvation Army and Meals on Wheels are working to make sure no one goes hungry on Thanksgiving. Between the two they are feeding hundreds of people in our area, but a lot of work goes into just one meal.
Volunteers are helping in the last minute preps.
"Normally I come in on Thanksgiving, but I have prior commitments, so I wasn't able to come in tomorrow, so I figured I'd spend more time today," Tammie Moses, who volunteers each year.
Officials at the Salvation Army say they are in dire need of food. They say the area Food Bank is all dried up so between Thanksgiving and Christmas they're looking for anything and everything.
