A proposed bullying bill seems to be making it smoothly through the General Assembly.
The House of Delegates approved the bullying bill 98-0 on Monday, January 31.
The bill was first proposed by local delegate Rob Bell as a way to crack-down on bullying.
If passed, the bill would provide protection for bullied students.
Schools would be required to report any bullying and would also have to implement bullying prevention programs.
The bill will now go to the State Senate where it will be reviewed in a few weeks.
