A marine from Stuarts Draft, Virginia was one of three marines killed Monday, January 31st in the Babil Province of Iraq.
The defense department says 19-year-old Lance Corporal Jason C. Redifer was killed in hostile fighting.
Redifer and two fellow marines from Camp Lejeune in North Carolina died while conducting a security operation.
