Drivers should take some extra caution on the roads.
Friday morning icy conditions caught drivers by surprise.
There were 35 accidents in Louisa County within a four hour period during the morning commute. Many of them on interstate 64.
Three people were sent to the hospital.
The Louisa County sheriffs department says even two of their own officers had minor accidents skidding on the icy roads this morning.
