Democratic Presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich makes a campaign stop at the Albemarle County Office Building Friday night.
Kucinich is the third Democratic Presidential Candidate to stop in Charlottesville in three months.
Senator Hillary Clinton gathered about one thousand supporters back in September.
In October, Senator Barrack Obama rallied more than four thousand people.
The Kucinich camp estimates that more than 500 people were there for Friday night's stump stop.
"Yes, I'm along shot but let me tell you something, when people look at my campaign as an opportunity to change the whole direction of politics, you watch, this race is gonna change" said Kucinich.
Admission for the event was $10 for students, $20 for general admission.

We are putting our support behind Dennis Kucinich. He is the one candidate that isn't going to make our country worse off. In fact, he, and the health care bill he co-wrote (HR 676) will make things much better in America. He will reduce the cost of health care, increase its quality, cover everybody, and in so doing will increase the economic conditions of every American. Well, perhaps the for-profit health insurance companies won't be doing so well. After all that they have done to screw the American people it's time for a little payback!
