Thursday Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's campaign will turn in 20,000 signatures, guaranteeing him a place on the state's GOP primary ballot.

The 20,000 signatures are 5,000 more than Mitt Romney turned in, and double the 10,000 signatures required for a place on the ballot.

"Virginia has rallied to Dr. Paul's message of freedom, peace and prosperity," said campaign spokesman Jesse Benton.

The signatures will be turned in Thursday at the Board of Election building located at 200 North 9th Street in Richmond. Virginia's GOP primary is February 12th.

I'm very excited! Ron Paul is going to win in California-it's my job to make sure that happens! Door to door, dvd's, and the constitution.
