One of the two Republicans seeking the GOP nomination to run for state attorney general this fall is challenging his opponent to a series of debates across the state.
Richmond Attorney Steve Baril has sent a letter to Virginia Beach Delegate Bob McDonnell, asking him to participate in seven debates.
Baril is suggesting the debates be held in every region of the state including one in Charlottesville.
Baril and McDonnell have set up two debates for April. Voters will choose their nominee in a primary on June 14.
