There was a single-car accident in Crozet Wednesday night and a man was airlifted to UVA Hospital.
Albemarle County police say he was traveling on Jarmons Gap Road when he hit something in the road and struck a telephone poll.
The poll broke in two and the car flipped overturning into an embankment. The man who has not been identified.
He was removed from the car by the ‘Jaws of Life’ and was airlifted by Pegasus to UVA Hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening, says Albemarle County police.
