The last of three pit bulls involved in the fatal attack on an 82-year-old woman was euthanized on Wednesday, March 9th.
On Tuesday the 8th, Dorothy Sullivan of Spotsylvania was killed by the pit bulls while walking her shitszu, Buttons, in her front yard. Sullivan's dog was also killed in the attack and police say her daughter discovered the body.
A Sheriff's deputy shot and killed two of the dogs Tuesday. The third dog was captured and then euthanized on Wednesday. Prosecutors say the dog's owners could face misdemeanor charges.
