Police Investigate Double Stabbing in Southeast Charlottesville

Charlottesville Police are investigating an early morning double stabbing.

It happened just after 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14 on the 600 block of Ridge Street. Police say two men were fighting inside a home in Southeast Charlottesville when the stabbing occurred.

There is no known cause of the fight, but police say several others inside the home were sleeping at the time. The two men apparently stabbed each other. One man was stabbed several times in the face and the other stabbed on the arms and hands. Both men were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Their injuries are non-life threatening.
