A local art advocate is competing in the Miss Wheelchair Virginia Pageant.
Rose Williams left for Richmond Thursday morning, March 10th. If she wins, she will be an advocate to educate people on what's needed to improve the lives of disabled people. Specifically, she will provide art opportunities for the disabled.
If she doesn't win, she will still be happy for the new queen. "I'm just gonna go there and have fun, meet the other ladies. And if I'm queen, I'm queen and if I'm not, I'm happy for the winners," said a smiling Williams.
