Bryan Hendricks of Palmyra was one of four hikers rescued after the weather turned snowy Monday, March 7th. One of the hikers is in a Tennessee hospital suffering from hypothermia.
The group set out from North Carolina on Sunday and spent the night in a three–sided shelter on the Appalachian Trail after nearly a foot of snow fell, leaving the hikers stranded for days.
