Police say Ricky Baucom, Brando Carter and Rico Harris tried to rob a taxi driver at gun point late Tuesday night, January 25th.
When the driver, Thomas Delmar Brock, dropped his fare off on South First Street, the three allegedly robbed him of a small amount of cash. As the suspects fled there was an exchange of gunfire. No one was injured.
Two of the suspects were arrested fleeing the scene. After an extensive house to house ground search, the Charlottesville SWAT team arrested the third suspect at a house on Bolling Avenue in Charlottesville Thursday morning, January 27th.
All three are charged with armed robbery.
