Orange County police are looking for the shooter behind a double murder in Orange County. According to police, the shootings happened in the front yard of a home along Old Office Road shortly after 1 a.m. Friday morning, March 18. Authorities arrived and found a man and a woman inside a pickup truck.

"Rescue squad pronounced both victims, William Browning and a white female, dead here at the scene," said Orange County Sheriff Charles Feldman.

Police said 40-year-old Browning knew the homeowner, having recently bought the pickup truck from him, but they don't believe he was involved in the shooting.

The homeowner was inside the house at the time of the incident. Police said he heard a horn followed by gunshots, then saw a red sports car peeling off.

Authorities are now trying to figure out what led the truck and the two victims to end up outside the home. It's a possibility they were perhaps being chased.

Orange County police are investigating, but said they have no suspects. They are, however, looking for persons of interest and have begun searching an area of interest. If you have any information, please contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office at (540) 672-1200.
