A court hearing was held for Antron Poindexter on Friday, April 8.
Police say Poindexter sexually assaulted and brutally beat his ex-girlfriend so badly last week that she needed facial surgery. He is being denied bond.
He was arrested Thursday night, April 7 after a tip from someone who saw his photo in the media.
