Two children and two adults were injured Friday afternoon, April 8 in an accident in Charlottesville. The collision occurred around 3 p.m. in the afternoon on Friday at the intersection of Cherry Avenue and Jones Street.
Police say a woman speeding down Cherry Avenue with two adults and two children inside hit a silver car turning off Jones Street. The person inside the silver car has minor injuries, while the woman who was speeding suffered more serious injuries. The two children’s injuries are non-life threatening.
Police say none were wearing seat belts. The accident is still under investigation and one driver may be charged with reckless driving.
