What started as a dream for three Charlottesville moms is becoming a reality.

The play area at the corner of Jefferson and 2nd St. NE will be transformed into a community based park with new playground equipment and an improved design. Friends of McGuffey Park announced the proposed plans on Sunday, May 22 and estimate the cost around $300,000.

If you want to donate, make checks out to Friends of McGuffey Park at P.O. Box 224, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
