One Teen Stabbed, Another in Police Custody

Charlottesville police are investigating a stabbing that has left a teen in the hospital. Authorities say they found the 15-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.

It happened early Sunday morning, June 19, in the parking lot of Friendship Court Apartments along Garrett Street. According to police, the 15-year-old male who stabbed the teen is in custody.

The victim is now at UVA Medical Center and is expected to recover.
