All Virginia Planned Parenthood locations could lose their State funding if one Senator has his way.
State Senator Ken Cuccinelli suggested an addition to a House Budget Bill Wednesday that the state stop funding the Women's Health Clinics.
Annually, the State of Virginia gives about a thousand dollars to the non-profit group.
Cuccinelli made the amendment to the House Budget bill HB 30, that solely prohibits Planned Parenthood from receiving state aid.
"It really is an unprecedented attack against one organization that receives State funding and it's potentially an unconstitutional attack" said Becky Reid with Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood estimates that more than 31,000 Virginia women, men and families use their health care services.
No state funding goes toward funding abortions, the money goes instead toward providing medical treatment and screening to patients.
