A woman was pinned upside-down in her minivan this afternoon after she crashed into two parked cars.

Police said the woman was temporarily blinded when she hit a parked car. When she swerved to avoid the car she over-corrected and the minivan flipped. The woman was pinned inside the vehicle. Witnesses said the woman was unconscious.

"She was just going down the center of the road and then she just took a little dip to the right, side swiped this car right here as you can see and somehow she kind of did a jump, like a small foot jump right of it and it flipped. It was all in slow motion. We just got out of the truck as quick as possible and helped her in different ways," said Chad Ryerson, a witness.

The woman was released from UVA Medical Center with minor injuries. She was charged with failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
