A president is making his way to Madison County, but it's not George W. Bush; it's the late President Herbert Hoover.

The Friends of the Hoover Ridge Barn will host a reenactment of President Herbert Hoover's speech in the county back on August 17, 1929. The barn is part of the actually location of the speech.

President Hoover owned land in Madison, which was called, Camp Hoover.

"They're going to help us restore this building to make it useful for the public. We're hoping we can make it a community project where people will be able to help, like young people," said Peter Williams of the Hoover Ridge Barn.

The event will kick off around 2 p.m., with fly fishing, older modeled cars and trucks and a blue grass band.
