The trial of an alleged bank robber may be moving on to a higher court. Attorneys say the case against Anthony J. Williams, who is believed to have robbed many banks across the state may wind up in federal court.

Attorneys requested that Williams’ preliminary hearing be rescheduled for November 11. Williams was arrested in Charlottesville back in September. He faces several felony charges in connection with three bank robberies along Route 29 earlier this year.
