Mechanics for the nation's fourth-largest airline continue their strike Monday.
It all began Saturday after contract negotiations with Northwest Airlines broke down.
More than 4400 mechanics, cleaners, and custodians are participating in the strike, but CHO officials say their travelers have nothing to worry about.
"There's [no] mechanics based here at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport affiliated with Northwest, so that would not impact us in that regard and the flights have been running," says Airport Authority Executive Director Bryan Elliott.
Airport officials say Northwest passengers flying outside of Charlottesville should call ahead for their Northwest flight details.
