It's finally that time of the year for University of Virginia students: back to school.
Today marked the official first day of classes for UVa. Nearly 13,000 students were on grounds today, and that's just counting undergraduate.
Everyone from first year students to fourth year were excited about the only day better than the last day of school, the first day.
"I'm excited. I'm just hoping to meet some hot girls in my new classes, and learn some stuff along the way," said 1st year student Charlie Norko.
"I'm excited about graduating. This is my last year, so this is the last first day of classes for me so its also symbolic for me to see people that I know," explained Dionne Wheeler, a 4th year at UVA.
